Open Question: Caution taking the Shingles shot!!!!!?

I made the terrible mistake of taking a preventive "Shingles" shot Zoster..took the shot on July 8th. at Health Dept. in Beaumont, Texas .. 2 days later numbness in the right hand and arm..terrible pain, break out started at point of injection, down the right arm..also on palm, thumb, and index finger...Dr. prescribed meditation totaling close to $250..also strong pain killer..what a foolish mistake..hate to see someone else suffer the way I have..just take precautions, understand that it is a live virus..consult your Doctor before taking the Zoster shot......
